Sadora draws on the wisdom of her kinfolk, her lived experiences and academic knowledge, to ground her in her work. Her vibrant cultural upbringing, life and professional expertise in navigating interlocking systems of oppression, enable her to lead with deep purpose, care, and conviction. Sadora’s adaptive approach allows her to address immediate needs, in ways that advance a vision for a just and fruitful future for generations to come. Sadora has worked tirelessly to champion the needs of the communities she serves, from leading critical research on the care pathways of Black children with disabilities and their families, to advocacy on anti-racist clinical approaches, to designing engaging workshops on topics like deconstructing power and privilege, to organizing large-scale interactive installations, promoting health equity through community health initiatives and more. Sadora’s strategic approach and persistent efforts drive transformative change from a place of authenticity, love, and intention.
